0.1 - Start of Development

First Devlog
Well ! Here's the start of Tempus Perit, a point and click style game made (in the making) with Godot 4.5.
A Little Summary
So I'm STAELH, main dev and a rookie in game dev, and in Godot. I think the game is as optimized as a Ubisoft game but... I'm not good for now with godot... So to be clear with y'all, I did use some GPT to well... learn how to write in GDScript, but everything from the assets to the scenes and stuff were pics we took and modified in Canva (yes even the battery was hand-made, which is... not hard). Anyway, we plan for the game to be released in... early 2026 ? I mean it's damn hard to make a game hey ! Well I mean now it's only my part coz we already took all the assets we needed. Oh yes the team ! So me, STAELH, doing principally the dev as explained, and there's Clancy, the "artist" (ig ?), she's doing the taking pics part, editing them and those typa stuff. And well together we're brainstorming for the story, and making the music and ambiance. Ah yes we're French also.
Development
Anyway let's get technical (no). So we want in the game to have a HUD, a user interface, with a battery and a timer, just to add a little challenge to the game and justify your quick presence into the woods (oooh scary). We also needed custom crosshairs for people to know when they can click to continue their playthrough. Also, an inventory for key items is necessary... and still in progress ahah, but linked to this a way to use those items for a door or to make a brand new object. Oh yeah and we also need to have a little "chase sequence" where you can hide under tables. And we also wanted this game to be a "meta game" where when you launch it, it open a REAL AND TOTALLY NOT FAKE WINDOWS PC where you have only one file (the game), and you could find a USB-Stick inside the game and it'll open more lore for ya with a code (oooh secrets). Of course a way to navigate through the scenes
Some Lore
The story takes place in a mountainy type forrest, where a girl named Lea goes to investigate these woods to retrieve some infos about her dad, known to have been a part of a sect... but she's unsure so she goes there to check (oooh spoo- alright I stop). As said everything was taken from real world locations and I must say it's damn beautiful ahah. So yeah very beautiful scenes here.
